The Wherewithal is a rolling programme of events in Glasgow, showcasing theatre, art, music and everything in between.

We provide platforms for artists to tell stories and we’ll invite audiences to come and listen.

We are a home for the raconteurs, the risk-takers, the incendiary, the indignant, the bold and the good.

We stage first plays, next plays and bottom-drawer plays, works-in-progress and that story in the back of your notebook that you’ve always wanted to see performed.

We’re utterly informal (no jacket required).

We do it all on a shoestring, then we share any profits equally among those involved.

We create entertainment that is irresistible to audiences and accommodating to artists.

The Wherewithal is at your pal’s studio, it’s in that abandoned shop behind your house, it’s behind the closed door you’ve always wanted to open and it sounds like we’re having a hoot in there.
